Position: BEHAVIOR CONSULTANT, BCBA, case team supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments for individuals with intellectual disabilities/ASD and/or exceptional behavioral difficulties

Design programs, recommend intervention procedures and/or environmental modifications

Monitor and evaluate progress of client:

  • Record, graph and interpret data;
  • Prepare assessment reports;
  • Write Behavioral Support Plans

Consult and train clients, parents/mediators, and prepare and deliver teaching materials

Lead the treatment planning, attend case conferences and adopt advocacy role when necessary

Behavior Consultant Qualifications:
BCBA certification, with at least one year of experience in ABA services management

2-5 years post-certification Case management and/or Special Education experience with children, youth and/or adults will be considered for salary negotiation

Fluent working knowledge of ABA behavioral strategies and functional behavioral assessments and procedures

Experience writing clinical reports, while deriving data-based conclusions and recommendations

Compassionate and responsible support of clients, their families, and community partners

Commitment to maximizing resources and improving quality of clients’ lives

Ability to work flexible hours

Computer proficiency and excellent communication skills

A valid driver’s license and insurance, access to a reliable vehicle and ability to drive in various weather conditions
